After graduating in 1992 from the duCret School of Art, under the guidance of renowned illustrator, Peter Caras, Michael Kupka created a strong portfolio with well planned illustrations. These samples attracted several companies to produce limited edition lithographs of this young illustrators work.

Michael's paintings capture more than a likeness of the famous athletes he depicts. He brings together all the ingredients necessary to make an illustration work. His use of color and composition bring his paintings to life, which is why he attracts the eye of respected art critics as well as the avid sports enthusiast.

Currently, Kupka continues to produce paintings for reproduction purposes and does a large amount of illustrations for private collections.
